Psychemagik are known for their obscenely vast record collections and transcendent mixtape journeys, as well as their beautiful production work and remixes of artists such as Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Bryan Ferry, Haim and Roisin Murphy. Their innate ability to seek out rare musical treasures from the worldwide musical domain inspired their sublime eight compilation album releases and brought about their hectic worldwide DJ schedule.
Between them, the London based Danny Mclewin & L.A based Tom Coveney have over 40 years of DJ experience and perform equally well together or solo. Their musical knowledge and technical brilliance means they can deliver what’s needed at pretty much every event. Ranging from dancefloor fillers and the coolest classics at celebrity weddings (Liberty Ross, Mary-Clare Winwood) to booty shakin’ house and disco at a reception in the American Embassy in London or an ambient soundtrack to Alice Temperley’s show during London’s fashion week. They can also work to a particularly specific brief such as that from Sotheby’s launch of David Bowie’s art collection launch; entailing a mix of music from the great man himself, his inspirations and those inspired by him.
Their debut album “I Feel How This Night Should Look” was released in 2019.
