Jonny Owen & Vicky McClure

Vicky McClure and Jonny Owen are both Bafta winning actors and producers. They met whilst filming ‘Svengali’ for Universal in 2012 and have been together ever since. Vicky is most famous for playing the iconic “Lol” in the multi award winning Shane Meadows film and TV series ‘This is England’ and is currently acting In BBC’s smash hit police drama “Line of Duty”. She has also spent time as a model and fashion designer. Jonny has acted in Shameless, Torchwood and Murphy’s Law and is currently directing his third documentary film in three years. In 2015 film ‘I Believe in Miracles’ was given the ‘soundtrack of the year’ award by the BBC film critic Jason Solomons.

They are both huge music fans and as a couple have DJed across the UK & Europe at major music festivals such Bestival, Y Not, Paleo and Isle of Wight. Their love of Northern Soul, Motown, 60’s beat bands, New Wave, Indie and Britpop has seen them aligned with brands such as Fred Perry and Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green and they have also appeared as support for Noel Gallagher and Placebo.

Their particular style and wide ranging knowledge of music from the 60’s to the noughties lends itself perfectly to a multitude of events.
