26 Feb Justin Robertson appearing at the BBC6 Music Festival in Liverpool
DJ, producer and visual artist Justin Robertson will appear at the BBC6 Music festival, held this year in Liverpool. The location was revealed today on Lauren Laverne’s breakfast show and will feature some of the city’s finest bands and artists, as well as a selection of the most influential musicians and DJs of the day. Acts such as The Good, The Bad and The Queen (featuring The Clash’s Paul Simonon) will appear alongside Hot Chip, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Erol Alkan.
Justin Robertson is taking part in a celebration of Liverpool’s most famous club night “Cream”. He was one of the regular DJs there from the early 90’s alongside the likes of legends Paul Oakenfold & Andrew Weatherall. From humble beginnings “Cream” grew into one of the music industry’s biggest success stories, becoming one of the first “super clubs”, a lifestyle brand and a festival “Creamfields”.
Justin will DJ at Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace venue and also take part in a panel hosted by 6Music’s Nemone.
